Learning Objectives

The purpose of this training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the basics and complexities of the 30% ruling in the Netherlands and international payroll.

Participants will learn about the conditions, application process and application of the 30% ruling in the payroll, as well as best practices for managing the process and ensuring compliance. At the end of the training, participants will have an in-depth understanding of the 30% ruling and be equipped with the tools and strategies to manage the application and processing process in a compliant and efficient manner, resulting in risk mitigation and cost savings for the company and a smoother process for employees (and thus a better employee experience).

Furthermore, the basics of international payroll are explained, including shadow and split payroll principles, tax equalization, foreign wage reconcilliations and the workday allocation calculations. It also discusses the choice between the application of the 30% ruling and ET costs.

This training is accredited by the NIRPA. There are 60 PE points available after attending the training.

Location/duration

The location of the training is Eastwing’s office in Capelle aan den IJssel. For larger groups, we can also offer the training in-house at companies. The duration of the training is 3 hours. If you would like more information about this, please contact us.
