The Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) has published the new salary requirements for knowledge migrants and EU blue card holders for the year 2025. Non-EU labor migrants who want to apply for a residence permit in the Netherlands must meet the minimum salary requirement, which is indexed annually.
As of Jan. 1, 2025, the following salary requirements will apply:
All above salary requirements are gross monthly amounts excluding vacation pay. Other benefits and/or allowances (for example, a 13th month) may be included in the calculation of salary only when paid on a structural monthly basis. The gross monthly salary must at all times be paid into a bank account in the name of the employee concerned.
Applications for residence permits (except for a change of employer) submitted through Dec. 31, 2024, will be reviewed based on the salary requirements of the year 2024, even if the start date of work is in 2025.
